It’s almost Winter Break! Only 2 more days!

Just a quick update for what is going on this week in our classroom:

  • If you signed up to bring something for our Holiday Party, please make sure those things are delivered by 8:00 tomorrow morning!
  • Our Book Exchange is tomorrow. If your child has not yet brought in a book, please try to send in a new or gently used book tomorrow morning. If you cannot send a book, please email me to let me know!
  • Tomorrow is Ugly Sweater Day! Students may wear a Holiday themed sweater tomorrow with standard attire bottoms. Students who do not wish to wear a sweater must wear normal standard attire tops and bottoms.
  • Wednesday is a $1 Dress Down day.
  • This is the last week for students to test on their multiplication facts. Those students who have memorized their facts up to their 10’s will receive an ice cream treat when we return from break. Even though we will no longer test after this week, all students should still continue to practice their facts at home to maintain their fact fluency.
  • We will have our Social Studies test on the Thirteen Colonies on Wednesday of this week. Students may use their study guides on the test, but it is their responsibility to bring their study guide with them to the test.
  • Remember that Tuesday and Wednesday of this week are Early Release. Dismissal will be at 12:30.

That’s it! I hope everyone has an amazing break!

Happy Holidays!

-Ms. Allison
